There are also a series of other multiplayer modes that cover all the bases of your usual tactical shooter.
With fast respawns and loads of strange characters, this is what I find myself playing the most. If you’re looking for a more chaotic multiplayer experience, Team Vanquish is the way to go, the classic “deathmatch” mode that is found in many multiplayer games. Both modes are extremely team-based and can end up being very challenging. As zombies, you defend a graveyard against plants, and build robots instead of planting plants. The zombies’ mode, Graveyard Ops, is basically the same. Your garden is surrounded with pots, in which you can plant a limited number of helpful allies, such as a healing sunflower or a “bonk” choy. If you’re plants, then you protect your garden against waves of AI zombies. If you’re looking for four-player action with your friends, then Garden Ops is the way to go. The fun never stops in the game’s multiplayer game modes.
